Beijing - I started to make retros-style hat in New York in January 2014. An unexpected visit to a vintage store in East Village leads to a journey in hat making.

Making hat is a way to dialogue with myself and to connect with other people. I enjoy making hats according to special occasions, seasons and weathers. Everyone has a unique story. Therefore, the hat becomes a container of the important memories and a bridge to connect people. So far I've made more than a hundred hats, which are collected by people all over the world. Each hat has a unique design, and a lasting story behind it.

This September, I'm going to bring fifteen hats to Beijing, all designed and hand made by me. The series features hand-painted base, feathers or flowers with traditional Chinese paint. In the world of millinery, I am only a beginner. But I would like to share my story with you.

If you own a "Chapeau Echo" or other hats you like, please wear it to the exhibition opening. I would like to hear your story。

北京——不知不觉，做帽子已经一年有余。开始做帽子，出于偶然，却变成生命中最大的热情之一。从2014年1月至今，我已经做了一百二十多顶帽子，它们都散落在世界的各个角落，每顶帽子和他们的拥有者都有一个故事，帽子成为我和自己重要的交流方式，也成为我和他人的联系方式。

如果九月初你在北京，欢迎来捌零捌茶间参观我的第一个帽子展览。我会呈现15顶有手染元素的帽子，群青、曙红、山青、鹅黄，中国传统的色彩都有很美的名字。虽然在帽子的世界我只是一个初学者，离完美还很遥远，但愿意和你分享帽子的故事。

如果你已经拥有一顶回声古董帽或者其他你心爱的帽子，请戴着它来参加展览，我很想听听你和它的故事。
